Practice Policies & FAQ

DOES YOUR PRACTICE TAKE INSURANCE?

Massage Therapeutics understands how wellness and health care maintenance can sometimes add up, thus why sessions are fairly “reasonably priced” here.

We take the following Health Insurance:

Kaiser Permanente (Access PPO,Boeing HMO Network, Core, Elect PPO, Medicare Advantage HMO Group, Medicare Advantage HMO GRP Part D, Microsoft, Options, Options Federal, Providence, Caregivers, SoundChoice, Summit PPO, Swedish Caregivers and) Virtual Plus - Connect , AETNA -Value Plus Plan, Platinum Plus Plan, Elite Plan, Choice Plan, Select Plan, Eagle Plan/PPO-MA Only, Preferred Plan); TriWest (Community Care) (Veteran Insurance).

We take the following payments: HSA, FSH, Credit, Debit, Cash, Visa Gift Cards, Personal Checks, Cash App, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

BOOKINGS/CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS

A debit or credit card is required to book all appointments. It is asked that if appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled, it is done at least 24 hours in advance, this will give another client a chance to get into my limited schedule. Massage Therapy and Coaching sessions take time and resources to prepare. In consideration of this, a 50% cancellation fee is applied to each session if a client no-shows or cancels same day and the debit or credit card on file will be charged automatically. If canceled 24hrs before the appointment, you will not be charged.

No Shows unfortunately puts a damper on a small business’s financial stability. In consideration of this No Shows are a one-time only occurrence at Massage Therapeutics. If a client “No Call, No Show” unfortunately future appointment requests will not be accepted. We know things happen and if something out of a client’s control comes up, please give us a call and we may consider other options.

GIFT CARDS (E-GIFT) & GIFT CERTIFICATES

E-Gift Cards are the new way of providing a gift card to a loved one or friend! There is a link on the home page of this site, that will take you to the eGift Card option site, powered by secure SQUARE. Simple and easy form to fill out and custom amount options available. Pick out a design of your choice! Your debit or credit card will be charged right away with your eGiftcard purchase. All eGiftcards are sent via email to the email that's entered at checkout. After purchase, all your eGiftcard recipient will need is to book their massage online and bring a photo ID with them to their appointment, along with a paper copy of their eGiftcard that has the reference number on there (a phone can also be scanned with a copy of the email and bar code up.) We understand that things happen, and you may change your mind for one reason or another; that is why Massage Therapeutics policy is that you have 24hrs to get a refund on eGiftcards. After 24hrs, there are no refunds on eGiftcards. No Exceptions.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I RECEIVE A MASSAGE?

For those who desire massage therapy to be a preventative care, to manage daily stress, or for body maintenance care one massage a month is common. Weekly sessions may be desirable if you are receiving massage therapy for injury relief or treatment of chronic pain that is interfering with your daily life. Massage Therapeutics recommends incorporating massage therapy sessions into your lifestyle and committing at least twice a month for optimal well-being results.
