Bamboo Fusion Massage

A warm Bamboo massage is a technique that involves the Massage Therapist integrating long to short warm (skin-safe temperatures) bamboo stick usage in the massage therapy session along with therapeutic massage strokes. The sticks used are smooth and give the client an intense and relaxing massage experience. This type of therapy can help heal muscular injuries; the bamboo sticks help the Massage Therapist trigger and target knots (adhesion) and tension points. This session can be seen as another version of a deep tissue massage but with a more relaxing effect. Bamboo Fusion is perfect for those wanting to try something new, while still seeking the benefits of a great deep tissue massage. The bamboo is used to roll and knead away the aches and pains of everyday stress. This treatment is similar to a hot stone massage.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The therapist places the stones on specific points on your body and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort. It can help to relieve muscle tension and pain, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote relaxation.

Cupping Massage

Massage Cupping bodywork therapy is an adaptation of an ancient technique; the purpose of this technique is to promote health and healing by loosening soft tissue and connective tissue, scarring and adhesions moving stagnation, and increasing lymphatic flow and circulation. This therapy utilizes silicone cups to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin using gliding, shaking, popping, and rotating techniques while gently pulling up on the cup, or may be parked for a short time to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release. Suction reaches deep into the soft tissue and attachments Another benefit is to pull toxins and inflammation from the body to the surface of the skin where the lymphatic system can more readily eliminate them.

Wood Therapy + Cellulite Reduction Massage

Offering Soon

Wood Therapy also known as “Maderotherapy”, is an ancient technique that originated in Colombia. It involves the use of different wooden tools, such as rollers and sculpting implements, to manipulate the body's soft tissues. The tools' shapes and sizes are carefully designed to target specific areas, allowing for precision and effectiveness during the massage. During a Wood Therapy session, the wooden tools are used to apply pressure and create friction on the skin. This stimulates blood flow, improves lymphatic drainage, and helps break down fatty deposits. The treatment is often combined with body contouring techniques. At Massage Therapeutics this session is paired with the use of a cellulite reduction vibration machine.

Aromatherapy Massage

An aromatherapy massage is a type of massage therapy that combines the use of essential oils with massage techniques. The essential oils, which are plant-based derivatives from herbs, tree extracts, and flowers, are added to massage oil or lotion and applied to the skin. The purpose of an aromatherapy massage is to improve your physical and mental well-being. It is used for a variety of different reasons, including relaxation, pain management, and improved mood. Some of the most popular essential oils used in aromatherapy include chamomile, eucalyptus, ginger, lavender, lemon, orange, and peppermint. The massage therapist might diffuse an essential oil in the room during your session or they might add a few drops of oil to massage lotion and apply it directly to your skin. When you inhale the aroma of essential oils, it is detected by sensors in your nose that connect directly to your brain’s limbic system which controls emotions. Aromatherapy has shown benefits for anxiety, depression, insomnia, nausea, and pain.
