Body-Self Renewal Coaching
Your wellness mold is uniquely yours, a beautiful sculpting of self-discovery but the mold can not start to form until you have the tools to bring things together to create that sculpture. In the case of body trauma and body acceptance challenges, there is often a broken foundation. If you feel called to dive deeper, to explore further into the relationship with yourself; well-being and mindfulness after body trauma and/or have challenges with body esteem/acceptance, you may benefit from Body-Self Wellness Coaching. Together, we can navigate through your unique path, exploring with curiosity and unfolding each layer of your wellness needs with kindness and understanding. The goal of each coaching session will be to work towards creating your mold and working towards your beautiful sculpture through body-self connection.
Coaching sessions are offered separate from Massage Therapy care under the operating business of “ProWellness Coaching”. We will be offering Body-Self Renewal Coaching sessions to “new” clients again soon! In the meantime please explore the two core body wellness areas we provide coaching in. Body Trauma
Wellness means being healthy in body and mind. Body wellness after trauma can be a challenging journey of reconnecting with oneself and fostering a positive relationship with the body once again. Body trauma of any type can lead to a disconnection from the body. To promote the healing process we use four coaching trails that help heal and re-establish a sense of safety for one’s body, give a safe space to process emotions, and re-engage with taking care of the body through self-care.
We help individuals recognize that trauma responses such as fight, flight, or freeze can lead to “self” disconnecting from the body; which can lead to physical body neglect.
We help individuals believe that they can overcome challenges through motivation and encouragement.
We help individuals take step’s towards feeling comfortable in their body again.
We help individuals reset their body awareness and mindfulness.
Promote renewal of the body-self connection.

Wellness, in relation to body esteem involves a holistic approach that includes mind-set switch. A positive body image is associated with self-acceptance, and not allowing one’s appearance to limit life experiences. Feeling good about our body leads to better overall health, while negative thoughts can harm our mental state. A negative body image can lead to feelings of shame, anxiety, self-neglect and self-consciousness. Here we help individuals through coaching:
Recognize how their perception of their body shapes their overall health and well-being.
Cultivate a healthy body image through coaching on improved practices such as self-compassion, and appreciating the body’s capabilities; looking at “self” as a “whole”.
Think healthier in finding ways to combat and eliminate negative self-talk.
Incorporate self-love and self-care activities in their daily lives

Important Things To Note About Coaching Sessions
Current massage therapy patient-clients who are receiving care under Massage Therapeutics, LLC for body-specific services, are unfortunately not able to become coaching clients under PRO’Wellness Coaching. This decision has been made to protect the professional boundaries that have already been established in your massage therapy care, protect you the client-patient, as well as in consideration of ethical boundaries of both professions. However, we do have a network of other coaching professionals that we can refer clients to within the Marston Center!
Body-Self Wellness Coaching sessions are not meant to be a part of the Massage Therapy scope of our practice but are offered to any individual who desires to extend or start their wellness and self-care renewal journey. Coaching sessions are provided under “PRO’Wellness Coaching” a business entity of its own; by a Trauma Informed Trained individual and Professional Coach.
Please note although many individuals have benefited from Body-Self Renewal Coaching in helping them practice self-care through therapeutic services such as massage therapy, coaching and massage therapy sessions at Massage Therapeutics are never combined. Meaning coaching clients are unable to become massage therapy client-patients. However, we are able to refer coaching clients to Massage Therapist providers right at the Marston Center to promote the progress of thier goal toward’s elevated self-care!
In general Body-Self Renewal Coaching is a guide to discovering what your unique path is in self-care and wellness. Though many clients use their coaching sessions in conjunction with mental health services for additional support. Coaching is NOT counseling/therapy or a cure for mental health conditions and should not be treated as such. Coaching one-on-one sessions provide the tools and resources useful for clients to move towards where they desire to be in feeling whole and like the best versions of themselves.
Topics discussed in the above session’s offerings will be wellness aspirations, life balance, self-care, healthy wellness habits, goal setting, and more. Although our services are directed towards body trauma and body esteem, our intentions are not to open Pandora’s box and go back in time. It is all about “moving forward” with a positive plan in coaching sessions. Coaching sessions are for individuals who have already put in the work to get past their darkest barriers/challenges of body trauma, and body esteem and ready to push forward in a positive direction but could still use that extra professional coaching support to achieve wellness and self-care goals.
Sessions help clients focus on piecing their individual self-care and wellness puzzles together. Coaching is all about helping clients align their self-care regimens with their daily lives while achieving a healthy, beneficial flow in wellness. Client coaching sessions will be focused on mindset regarding their personal wellness development and self-care; Pushing towards being and feeling like the best version of themselves.
